Little Murder Never Hurt Anybody is a vintage “who done it?” and a tribute to the screwball comedies of the 1930’s and 40’s. This comedy begins on New Year’s Eve at Matthew & Julia Perry’s mansion. Things seem fine until Matthew has an epiphany: he wants to murder his wife Julia so that he can have some real fun! He tells her about this epiphany, but Julia vows to stay alive. And so, the games begin- a hilarious year-long match of wits and witless. Julia consistently dodges Matthews devious murder attempts; however, the Perry friends and staff are mysteriously dying. Dim-witted daughter Bunny contemplates calling off her wedding to unwitting Donald because there won’t be any gifts. Detective Plotnik, a Humphrey Bogart wanna-be, arrives and suspects everyone and anyone but doesn’t have a clue. Donald and Plotnik jump to the conclusion that Julia is the murderer. Their plan to trap her comically backfires when Matthew confesses to the murderous deeds although he really didn’t kill anyone. But if he didn’t do it, who did?
